Burkina Faso 2013

Ouagadougou

We entered Burkina Faso on a Saturday and our first night was in lively Ouagadougou!  We had a delicious dinner in an outdoor garden with a live music.  The highlight for me was the stilt dancer who seemed completely surreal with long legs and whirling dance moves.  The thing you notice about Ouaga is that nearly everyone is on a motorbike or bicycle which compounds the number of drivers on the road and the chaos.  It all works, but you have to pay close attention.

Banfora Region
The Banfora region features some wonderful sights such as the Karfiguela Falls and the Sindou Peaks. We camped near the falls and climbed up for a dip in the cool waters. The Sindou Peaks are interesting formations.
